YM Camp 2024: July 9 – 12
Go and Do!
Kings Mountain – Camp York | Blacksburg, South Carolina
“Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life.”
3 Nephi 5:13
But behold, I say unto you that ye must pray always, and not faint; that ye must not perform any thing unto the Lord save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy performance may be for the welfare of thy soul.
2 Nephi 32:9
Camp 2024 Goals
We want this week to be a place of refuge, growth, fun, and peace. A place to grow closer to each other and Jesus Christ.
As we focus on lighting the fire of Christ this summer, our goals are to:
– Reinforce their shield of faith through testimony and scriptures
– Arm them with the Sword of the Spirit
– Be strengthened with fellow brethren
– Prepare for temple blessings and life-long service
Our youth and leaders are dedicated to helping all of our young men feel welcomed, strengthened, and loved.

Welcome to Camp York
Spiritual experiences cannot be forced, but camps can help create settings away from the distractions of life where it may be easier for young men to feel the Spirit, increase their faith in Christ, and make commitments to follow Him.
We are excited to again host camp at Camp York, a rustic group camp at Kings Mountain State Park. Located on the shores of 65-acre Lake York and surrounded by trees. There are cabins, a centralized shower house, and each of the three cabin units have a rest station. Camp York has its own dock for use of private or rented canoes or kayaks. There will be activities, classes, games, devotionals, service, evening programs and more. There will be time for quiet reflection and time with friends.
Additional information about the park can be found in this link:
Fathers and Leaders, please sign up for days to help with leadership at camp:
